Located in the center of Shanghai, Longqiao is located in the north of Jiapu Longqiao plate. The planned West extension section of line 13 will extend from Jinyun Road subway station to the National Convention and Exhibition Center located in Hongqiao central business district; Line 14 under construction is 1.2km to the south of the project (Jinyuan 5th Road subway station), 11 stops directly to Jing'an Temple and 15 stops to Lujiazui. Another important subway line is the planned Jiamin line, which starts from Jiading new town and ends at Xinzhuang, Minhang, passing through Jiangqiao and connecting the north and South arteries of Hongqiao Business District。
